"The Journey is the Destination"

Out of all of the landscapes I have lived in and embraced, the pitiless rigor of the land of the Rocky Mountains and desert Southwest has been the most compelling. The blogs to follow are my attempts to trace my meanderings across that landscape, sometimes with friends and acqauintences, sometimes alone. If these meanderings can at all be called quests, since in my soul I clearly feel the need to be an explorer, then it is a quest that I doubt I shall ever finish, and a thirst never to be quenched
